Did my 1st tranny drop today. Been deaking with a clicking/vibrating noise coming from the clutch housing for the last week. Decided to drop the transmission and pull the cluth to take a look. While removing the disc i stuck my finger in the hole where the spindle would go to pull off the disc and noticed the same noise i've been hearing. There was slight play in the center wher the spindle would go. All the springs were tight side to side. As i rolled them with my fingers i noticed flat spots, (or rub marks). As i did this, the play disappered and everything was tight. Whenever it would roll back to the flat spot, the looseness came back. What would cause flat spots in the disc springs? It's a JWT clutch by the way.
